Hello! My name is Allyn West and I am looking for a bass player to join my band 'Edith's Aphids'. Preferably you would be able to commute into Brighton city centre at least once every 2 weeks, if not every week for a rehearsal. These rehearsals are free so you do not need to contribute money for them. Some other attributes I am looking for:

- Preferably our age range (19-25), we are a band starting up out of uni so other uni students would be great!
- Influenced by / an enjoyer of the bands: Cardiacs, Mr Bungle, They Might Be Giants, Genesis (early phil collins), Gentle Giant, Oingo Boingo and other such wonky bands.
- Able to learn quickly, we have a lot of songs so a lot of the learning would need to be done in your own time.
- Able to read tablature or sheet music / chord charts - or have a good musical ear to learn the bass lines.

This is a project I really want to get going so we are looking for someone ready to commit themselves to a project and all the 'fun' things that come along with that. This'll include gigging, promotion, band image and branding, etc. Please send me an email and I will send a bunch of examples of our music! Thanks.
